AKP Sports Foundation hosts KAST Midwest in late October 2023

Chicago, IL – The AKP Sports Foundation is thrilled to announce the commencing of the Korean American Soccer Tournament (KAST) Midwest on October 21 in Northbrook, Illinois. Midwest universities will be joining to compete in the tournament: Calvin University, Indiana University, Northwestern University, Purdue University, University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, University of Michigan, and University of Wisconsin. This event brings together Korean American–and more broadly, Asian American–college students, alumni and young professionals across the country to network and unify under the banner of sports.
In addition to this, AKP SF will be partnering with Hanul Family Alliance for a day of community service and volunteering. Founded in 1987, Hanul Family Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on outreach and meeting the needs of elderly Korean Americans in the area. Furthermore, the organization has done pivotal work for thousands of individuals and families of all ages and ethnicities by providing a broad range of community services to meet the diverse needs of their community members.
