  • As a former Oregon Ducks football player, Aaron embarked on a transformative journey that ignited his passion for sports and mentorship. Today, Aaron is a dedicated PE teacher at a local high school in the greater Seattle area, where he not only educates but also coaches track, football, and basketball. His commitment extends beyond the classroom as he serves as a sports performance trainer, specializing in speed, agility, and football-specific workouts, aiming to inspire and motivate athletes to surpass their own limits.

    Fueling his dedication to working with youth is a background rooted in volunteering for summer camps at his mother's church, where he discovered a profound passion for positively influencing young minds & spreading the love of God. He wants to encourage the next generation and be a stepping stone.

    With a degree in Exercise Science, fitness has always been apart of Calvin’s identity. After playing basketball at the professional level, he taught online cooking classes and fell in love with teaching others about nutrition and food.

    Calvin’s passion is to help individuals learn that nutrition is much more than just one ingredient or one food. Any food can fit in a balanced diet and no food is deemed “bad.” Whether it may be fat loss, weight gain, or weight maintenance, food should be enjoyed at all levels.

  • In High School, Colman was an integral member of New York City FC's Academy, winning the National Championship in 2018 and 2019. He went on to win international tournaments and has experiences involving playing against the likes of Real Madrid, Fulham, Liverpool Villareal, etc. He made his professional debut in January 2020, debuting against Corinthians in the Florida Cup. He finished his academy career by traveling with NYCFC's 1st Team for Preseason, where then he moved on to West Point.

    At West Point, Colman has been an integral part of the Army Men's Soccer team all 4 years, gaining accolades such as MVP and Freshman of the Year. They won the Patriot League his Junior Year, beating Air Force and Navy multiple times throughout his career. He remains a vital part of the team, and looks to thrive in his atmosphere at West Point.

  • Former NCAA Division 1 Student Athlete at Pepperdine University

    Jay played Division 1 college basketball at Pepperdine University for 5 years where he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Business. During his tenure as a student-athlete, Jay progressed from a determined walk-on athlete to a valuable full-ride scholarship player by his senior year where he emerged as a leader, guiding Pepperdine to the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) postseason championship in 2021. Jay aspires to be a living testament for aspiring athletes, particularly those of Asian American descent. He wants his journey to be a beacon of inspiration, showcasing that with dedication, perseverance, and a relentless spirit, barriers can be overcome, and true potential can be realized. He seeks to serve and encourage the next generation of Asian American athletes to reach for their own extraordinary heights through God’s love and His divine timing.

    Jay currently works as a Financial Analyst at Capital Group in Southern California. He continues to expand his financial expertise and business acumen, aiming to be a leader in his field. In his free time, Jay enjoys spending time with his loved ones and satisfying his thirst for adventure by exploring SoCal’s hidden gems. His competitive nature now finds outlets in everything from casual bouldering to challenging escape rooms.

Jeron Artest

ATHLETE & ENTREPRENEUR

  • Jeron Artest has carved a unique niche in the tech world as a Founder and CEO. His company, Test Jar Labs, is an interdimensional entertainment brand pushing the boundaries of what's possible, bridging dimensions to bring novel experiences and knowledge to this reality. He led his company through Techstars and is revolutionizing interactive storytelling in tech and games. Artest's journey is a testament to his diverse talents and relentless ambition. He started his collegiate career at UC Irvine where he majored in Computer Science. Artest played basketball from 2019 to 2021, where he was instrumental in winning a conference championship in 2020 and reaching the Big West Championship in 2021. His passion for gaming and technology led him to USC's School of Cinematic Arts, marking a pivotal shift in his career trajectory.

    Before his collegiate success, Artest had already made a name for himself. In 2019, as a player for Bella Vista, he earned the titles of National High School Champion and Defensive Player of the Year in The Grind Session. Simultaneously, he showcased his tech acumen by leading the programming for Bella Vista's inaugural robotics team, earning a regional FRC Rookie Inspiration award. Artest's venture into game development began early, publishing his first video game on iOS at just 13. He also established a game development club at Palisades Charter High School, guiding peers in game creation and organizing insightful trips to industry giants like Riot Games. In addition to his tech and sports endeavors, Artest is a passionate music producer and was a skilled junior SCPGA golfer, reflecting his multifaceted personality and exceptional drive.

David Kim

  • David is a Korean American born and raised in Southern California. David played collegiate Division 1 golf at UC Irvine from 2014-2018, receiving the 2017 Big West Conference Player of the Year as well as All Conference First Team in 2017 and 2018. Currently, He is a professional golfer going into my third season on PGA Tour Americas, a developmental circuit of the PGA Tour.

    David is passionate about his faith as a Christian, as it inspires all that he does in his life. This leads to his desire to help the younger generation navigate through the journey of sports, especially in golf. David strives to make an impact through his efforts towards excellence in his profession but also just as much in his character both on and off the golf course.

Richie Lee

  • Richie Lee, a midfielder from Torrance, California, has established his own program called "The Breakthrough Academy" in the Los Angeles Area, where he serves as a specialized trainer. The primary mission of his academy is to give back to the sport by sharing knowledge and skills with the next generation of athletes who aspire to play at higher levels. Richie finds great fulfillment in helping others excel in the game he loves and hopes to contribute positively to their athletic journeys on and off the field.

    During his prep ranks at South Torrance High School, Richie was a four-year varsity member, All-Pioneer League First Team member, All-CIF first team member, and received honorable selections during both his junior and senior years in his last two seasons. In the club ranks, He also represented the ODP (Olympic Development Program) Regional Team for Region IV in both 2013 and 2014. Competing in the Los Angeles Area under the club Palos Verdes Exiles throughout his youth career.

    He continued his soccer career at the Division 1 level, at the University of the Pacific where he played for two years in the West Coast Conference (WCC). Following this, he transferred to UNC Asheville after completing his sophomore season. At UNC Asheville, Richie competed in the Big South Conference, concluding his collegiate soccer journey.

Izzy Koo

  • Izzy Koo is a college student at Pepperdine University dedicated to leading the next generation to Christ. In 2021, Izzy released her first book, “Finding God, Finding Me,” where she shares her story of meeting God as an ordinary teenager. She released her supplemental workbook, “Finding You: 8-Week Teen Bible Study Guide” in the summer of 2024. Izzy is regularly invited to speak at churches, youth retreats, and conferences across the country to share her unique and powerful testimony. She hopes to pursue youth ministry in the future and continue to use writing, speaking, and mentorship to transform lives through faith.

    Alongside her studies, Izzy currently serves as the NextGen Coordinator at the Asian American Christian Collaborative (AACC), where she leads efforts to invest in the next generation of Asian American Christians. In her free time, Izzy loves playing volleyball and pickleball with her friends, watching Korean dramas, and spending time with her two adorable younger sisters.
