Korean American Soccer Tournament

The Korean American Soccer Tournament (KAST) is the largest national soccer tournament for college students, young professionals, and community teams, promoting unity and networking through sports and service.

Hosted annually by AKP Sports Foundation (AKP Sports), KAST celebrates the unity, talent, and spirit of the Korean American and broader AAPI community through the game of soccer.

Launched in 2022 in New Jersey, KAST made history as the largest Korean American college soccer tournament to date, featuring 10 university teams and attracting over 400 participants. The inaugural event drew national and global media coverage, highlighting the power of sports to bring communities together.

Since then, KAST has evolved into the largest Asian American soccer tournament in the United States, now featuring over 50 colleges and universities nationwide and welcoming open league teams and women’s divisions to foster inclusivity and broader participation. To date, more than 4,000 players and participants have taken part across regions including the East Coast, Midwest, and South.

More than just a competition, KAST serves as a platform for Korean American and AAPI college students, alumni, young professionals, and athletes of all backgrounds to unite, network, and celebrate culture through sport. Each year, the tournament continues to expand its impact—building community, pride, and representation for Asian Americans in athletics.
