Internship & Fellowship Program
Internship Program
Invest in Leadership. Build Through Sport. Serve the Community.
The AKP Sports Foundation Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience designed for high school and college students who are passionate about sports, nonprofit leadership, and community impact.
Interns work directly alongside AKP leadership and staff to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, sports event management, communications, and program development. Throughout the program, interns become active contributors to projects that support AKP’s mission of empowering communities through sports, mentorship, and service.
Whether you are exploring a future in sports management, nonprofit leadership, community engagement, or social impact, this internship provides practical experience, professional mentorship, and meaningful responsibility.
Fellowship Program
The Fellowship is a selective, year-long program for recent graduates or professionals at any stage of their career. Fellows take on more advanced roles, contributing to significant projects and initiatives. The program offers a pathway to potential employment with AKP, making it an excellent stepping stone for those passionate about sports and community service.
