AKP’s Armed Forces Classic, held in November 2023, went beyond the bounds of traditional competition. The event not only celebrated the courage and sacrifice of our veterans but also featured an exciting basketball tournament, with local church teams and U.S. military academies showcasing their skills on the court. More than just a basketball event, the Armed Forces Classic served as a meaningful tribute, highlighting unity, teamwork, and a strong commitment to community service. In addition to the tournament, we launched a service project to support veterans in the NYC area. The event stood as a testament to our collective gratitude, honoring both the military academy cadets and the veterans, while leaving a lasting impact on the tri-state community.
