AKP Sports Foundation Ambassador Jaden R. Soong Named to Rolex Junior All-America Golf Team
Los Angeles, CA—November 11, 2025—AKP Sports Foundation announced today that Ambassador Jaden R. Soong, one of junior golf’s brightest talents, has been named to the prestigious Rolex Junior All-America Team by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). Each year, the top 48 boys and 48 girls in junior golf who have demonstrated exceptional performance and commitment throughout the season receive this prestigious honor.
The AJGA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the growth and development of young men and women aspiring to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. Selection for the Rolex Junior All-America Team requires players to compete in a minimum of six Rolex AJGA-ranked tournaments and maintain active AJGA membership.
Jaden, widely regarded as an elite junior golf phenom, has consistently showcased skill, discipline, and sportsmanship on the course since he began playing the sport at two and a half years old. The 15-year-old Chinese and Japanese American student from Burbank, California is ranked among the top players in the AJGA and WAGR standings. He has earned multiple championship titles, including the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Individual Finals and Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) Amateur, and made history as the youngest champion at the SCGA Jr. Amateur and SCGA Amateur. At age 13, Jaden also became the youngest player to qualify for the US Open. Known for his precision and competitive spirit, he continues to set records while training under PGA coach Rick Sessinghaus.
In October, Jaden became an Ambassador for AKP Sports Foundation, joining the organization’s mission to foster leadership, service, and community through sports.
"Being named to the Rolex Junior All-America Team is an incredible honor,” said Jaden. “I’m grateful for the support of my family, coaches, and this new partnership with AKP Sports Foundation for helping me grow both as a golfer and as a person. This motivates me to keep working hard and representing AKP’s values on and off the course."
AKP Sports Foundation’s mission is to share love, opportunity, and life through the power of sports and service, with initiatives such as its flagship national tournament, sports outreach programs for underserved communities, and service projects that use sports as a platform for building community on a local and global scale.
John Lee, CEO & President of AKP Sports Foundation, said, "Jaden exemplifies what AKP stands for: excellence, character, and service. Being named to the Rolex Junior All-America Team is a testament of his dedication and the positive influence sports can have in shaping young athletes into leaders and trailblazers of the Asian American Pacific Islander community. We couldn’t be prouder to have him as an Ambassador."
