AKP Basketball Team Crowned Champions at the Prestigious Las Vegas Invitational
September 10, 2024 | Las Vegas, NV – The AKP Basketball Team emerged victorious this past weekend at the Las Vegas Invitational (LVI), the most prestigious Asian American basketball tournament in the United States. With this Championship, AKP has now won LVI in back to back years. With an outstanding undefeated record of 3-0, the AKP team demonstrated skill, teamwork, and determination to claim the championship title.
The Las Vegas Invitational is renowned for featuring the top Asian American basketball talent in the country, and the AKP Basketball team rose to the occasion, representing the AKP Sports Foundation with pride and excellence. The team consisted of notable members including John Lee, Chris Yin, Andrew Park, Daniel Jun, Calvin Kang, Storm Yoon, Jay Yoon, and Byron Stufken.
