He started his collegiate career at UC Irvine where he majored in Computer Science. Artest played basketball from 2019 to 2021, where he was instrumental in winning a conference championship in 2020 and reaching the Big West Championship in 2021. Before his collegiate success, Artest had already made a name for himself. In 2019, as a player for Bella Vista, he earned the titles of National High School Champion and Defensive Player of the Year in The Grind Session. Simultaneously, he showcased his tech acumen by leading the programming for Bella Vista's inaugural robotics team, earning a regional FRC Rookie Inspiration award. Artest's venture into game development began early, publishing his first video game on iOS at just 13. He also established a game development club at Palisades Charter High School, guiding peers in game creation and organizing insightful trips to industry giants like Riot Games. In addition to his tech and sports endeavors, Artest is a passionate music producer and was a skilled junior SCPGA golfer, reflecting his multifaceted personality and exceptional drive.
