AKP Sports Foundation releases its first Annual Report
April 23, 2024 – The AKP Sports Foundation (AKP SF) is proud to announce the release of its first Annual Report. The report showcases the tremendous effort the organization has put in to make an impact in Asian American and marginalized spaces in the past year, and pays homage to the generous contributions that have been given and partnerships that have been created in order for AKP Sports Foundation’s ultimate mission to continue to move forward.
John Lee, President of AKP Sports Foundation added, “AKP Sports Foundation’s journey has now passed the 1 year mark and it has been remarkable to see the growth and impact of our organization. In the past year, we accomplished our goal of making a positive impact on the lives of Asian American communities and marginalized groups. We promised to do this through the power of sports and community service and we delivered. Without your partnership this year, the Foundation would not have been able to meet our strategic goals. In this report, you will see how your support was able to provide the resources we needed to fulfill our namesake of AKP. Sharing love (Agape) in the opportunity (Kairos) given to us to give life (Pneuma) to our communities. I believe that the new year of 2024 will be full of “more”—more growth in our programs, more community impact through our events and more lives changed for the better. Together, we will continue to elevate and uplift communities through the unifying power of sports..”
