AKP Sports Foundation hosting AKP Sports Academy in Los Angeles
May 31, 2024 - LOS ANGELES, CA – AKP Sports Foundation (AKP), the fastest growing Asian American sports non-profit in the United States will host AKP Sports Academy (Academy) on June 22nd to June 23rd in Cal State LA.
AKP Sports Academy, is a free summer sports camp that provides 1st to 8th grade students an educational, affordable, and accessible sports camp experience.
Academy will provide the opportunity for children to learn and improve their skills in soccer, basketball, and flag football from Professional and Collegiate athletes and coaches at Cal State LA. AKP will also provide campers t-shirts, water and snacks.
Day one of the sports camp will focus on basketball from 9 am to 12 pm with soccer and flag football on day two from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Academy will take place at the athletic facilities of Cal State LA.
CEO of AKP Sports Foundation- John Lee says, “We hope to create a meaningful impact in the Los Angeles community by providing a free sports camp coached by professional and collegiate level coaches and athletes for children to participate in. Our two day Sports Academy is open to all and this camp is a major part of AKP’s mission to make sports education accessible to every family.”
