AKP Sports Foundation Unites 60 AKP Staff Members in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. for Annual Staff Summits

Washington, D.C. — March 16, 2025 — AKP Sports Foundation kicked off the new year by bringing together its 60-member staff for two impactful Staff Summits held in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. These gatherings served as a time of strategic planning, team-building, and vision casting as the organization prepares for a year of growth and greater impact in the Asian American faith and sports community.

The Los Angeles Summit took place at The Salvation Army Long Beach Corps, while the Washington, D.C. Summit was hosted at McLean Bible Church. Both summits provided an opportunity for staff to align on AKP’s mission, strengthen partnerships, and discuss key initiatives for 2025.

“These summits were a powerful reminder of the dedication and passion that drive our team forward,” said John Lee, CEO of AKP Sports Foundation. “As we step into this new year, we remain committed to using sports as a platform for faith, leadership, and community impact. Gathering together in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. allowed us to refine our vision, deepen our unity, and prepare for an exciting year ahead.”

With the momentum from these summits, AKP Sports Foundation is poised to expand its reach, develop new programs, and continue fostering a strong community of faith-driven athletes and leaders.
